The Trade Show, Fair and Exhibition location took place at Dubai International Convention &Exhibition Centre. AQUAME, Aqua Middle East 2016 is regarded as one of the remarkable event on Aquatic Fisheries Aquaculture, Fishery, Seafood, Fishing and Aquatic Products spots.

Over two days, an international audience of professional end-users, architects, asset owners, composite manufacturers, material suppliers, engineers, consultants and designers attended the conference being held at the Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai on the 9-10th February 2016.

The forum was held in Yanbu in Moevenpick Hotel under the patronage of HRH Prince of Madina Dr. Faisal Bin Salman and Minister of Agriculture Eng. Abdurrahman Alfadli. The first day included the launching of the forum works with papers of the participating bodies from Ministry of Agriculture, FAO, and Saudi Aquaculture Society. Then, the accompanying exhibition was opened. The exhibition specialized in aquaculture and many local and international companies from different countries including the USA, India, Turkey, the UK, Norway, Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Taiwan, the UAE took part in through showing their products. In addition, companies specialized in fish technology and equipment such as floating cages and closed systems participated in the exhibition.

The First Middle East and Central Asia Aquaculture Conference included several renowned aquaculture meetings and provided a truly international platform for academics, aquaculture experts and industry alike, to share knowledge, have peer engagements, meet with potential business partners and tap new markets in aquaculture. The conference brought WAS with its dynamic aquaculture platform for the first time to Iran, the potential development of aquaculture in the Middle East.

held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance of the UAE and President of DEWA, DEWA organized the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) .

Held at Dubai world trade center ,the Middle East Aquaculture Forum, was hosting workshops, industry presentations and an exhibition for aquaculture suppliers and producers and is sponsored by the European Aquaculture Society (EAS) and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS), with the Arab Aquaculture Society (AAS), the Pakistani Aquaculture Society (PAS) and the Saudi Arab Aquaculture Society (SAAS) as affiliate sponsors. All these societies held their annual meeting at MEAF15 and invited all their members to Dubai to join this unique forum.
